Life in a Nutshell

Where to begin. . . Is it already January?!?

RECAP:
Halloween was fun--Kaleb was Iron Man and Kayden was a monkey. We went trick-or-treating at Mitch's work & the mall! Thought we'd stop by on the way home to check something out and were surprised that even grownups were trick-or-treating there. If you want to see some crazy outfits, this is the place to go! We were going to do some more trick-or-treating but Kayden fell asleep so that was the end.

We passed final inspections the day before Halloween and moved in the following Saturday--THANK YOU so MUCH to all of those who helped us move in. We are excited to be out of my mom's basement and living near my little sister. . . I'm not too sure if she is excited though! :) We are also in the same ward and visiting teaching companions.

Between moving in, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, my birthday(thanks to the birthday emails and calls!), and many other family birthday's, we were still able to find time to get away. We were able to go to two weddings in Mesa--my cousins and my husband's cousin's daughter! Both happened to be in the same city and just a day apart. We also were able to spend time with my family, and Mitch's family for Christmas--Thank you Shan & Dave for having us over! We were also able to get away for our anniversary which is just 3 days before Christmas--thanks Ciara for babysitting!
The weather in Mesa was so nice. Swimming in November. . .

During the month of November, Mitch's work had a mustache contest for prostate cancer awareness. He was super faithful to that mustache--he didn't even shave for the weddings! :( I'm sure our new ward thought Mitch was a little weird. . . or an ex-convict.

Well that's been our life in a nutshell! Hope you all had a Merry Chrismtas and a happy New Year's!

I think I'm the only one who didn't get a mention on this post. Even Mitch's cousin's daughter got a mention.

Are you lacking so much attention that you want your name posted on my blog? I'll be sure to include your name in my next post. . . even if I just randomly put you name in a middle of a sentence! hahaha

It's about time, we were all getting sick of seeing that Tagaroosky thing!

And about Mitch's 'stache...you guys live in Salem. Burly moustache's are the norm there. I'll bet everyone was more concerned when he shaved the thing off!

Hi Ale,

You're house looks great! So, are you going to start highering yourself out as a General Contractor? I need you're new #, since then one I have is your Mom's. I don't know if you heard, but Camille's daughter, Emily, the one who was 4 1/2 passed away last week. So that's been really hard, but they are doing great. We are doing great, Kacey started a new job working for the City Manager in Salem, and eventually is supposed to get a raise, but we don't know how much! So hopefully sometime we'll move, but we would have to sell our house first! Anyway, call, or email me sometime! 503-606-0737, janicaduncan@hotmail.com

Oh, by the way, since your house is done, does that mean baby # 3 is on the way? ;)
