We went to good ol' Roosevelt for Easter and had lots of fun! (Thanks Shan and Dave for letting us come!) We even got to see the Easter Bunny at the grocery store! Unfortunately my kids were super scared of it. . . and I think Mitch was a little scared too. I told him to scoot over closer to the bunny, but I guess he was too shy! :) Kaleb wouldn't get within 20 feet (not kidding).
The weather was really nice there and the kids had fun playing outside--we really haven't gotten out much before that weekend so that's where they wanted to be all the time. Mitch's parents even put on a little Easter Egg Hunt. The kids were really excited about it.
Kaleb had fun hunting with his dad, cousins, and uncle Mike. They especially had fun getting stuck in the mud! While they were hunting, the girls watched a movie. While watching the movie Kayden disappeared--we found him next door on their front porch! Those darn latch door handles (is that what they are called?) Anyway, Kayden can't open normal door knobs.
I didn't take any pictures besides that one--batteries died! So I thought I'd put pictures of Kaleb from a couple of years ago... I can't believe how much he has grown! I don't know what happened to last year's pictures! Anyway, I need to get better with taking pictures, but for now, I'll just relive my past! :)
In the middle picture (above) Kaleb has his hand to his forehead--he is searching for eggs!

Kayden does look like he is not sure about the bunny and he is not going to take his eyes off of her. I thought the store looked familiar when I was looking at the pictures. When you guys come out again, give us a call - we would love to meet up. I do know it is busy when you come out - so many people to see. We would love to say hi. I would say we will call when we come out there, but there is no way in this world I can get Dusty to leave Neola, except for work!!!
Very cute picts. I was just looking at some of our old picts. I can't believe how fast they change. Glad your Easter was "Hoppy" (wow that sounds lame:)
Ale, way cute stuff. Thanks for sharing. What's wrong with those Labrum boys and being scared of the bunny rabbit? Too funny that Kayden went wondering and Mitch and Kaleb got stuck in the mud. Keep the posts coming.
You found Kayden on the next door neighbor's front porch?!
A movie is more important than Kayden? Talk about bad parenting...!
Your boys sure are cute! My sister-in-law used to work at ToysRus and she got to be the Easter Bunny at work in that same costume! It makes me laugh seeing that and thinking of all the poor parents she would mess with when they would bring their kids up to her! Fun times!
